At our School, we are convinced that each child can reach their highest potential if given the right tools. Our early curriculum, based on the standards established by the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and the English National Curriculum, encourages children to learn and practice English from their first years of life. There are three small mixed ability classes in Nursery. Most of our staff in Nursery are fully bi-lingual. Nursery is part of the Foundation Stage of Education, in which we provide an environment to learn through play, which contains stimulating, challenging, changing, familiar and loved resources and materials.<\/p>\n

The children are encouraged to engage in different kinds of play, such as construction, role play, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), gross and fine motor activities, problem solving, discovering, communicating and imagining. The children are encouraged to use and extend their knowledge and use of spoken English throughout the year.
