ENGAGE, ENRICH, EXCITE

W B Yeats may have said that “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire”.

Outstanding schools kindle the fire through their commitment to core values and in how they inspire their students to realise their dreams.

Edron Activities, Clubs & Societies.
Edron´s extensive range of activities, clubs and societies seek to engage, enrich and excite, across a broad field of endeavor. Aimed at maximizing choice, our options are breathtaking in scope, giving our students amazing opportunities to broaden their horizons with first rate instructors.

You name it: we’ve got it: art, music, drama and debate; ballet, basketball, football and karate, taekwondo, and tochito; construction, coding and Pokemon; and, of course, Junior Master Chef. As an international school, we also offer language clubs, notably in Mandarin, and Model United Nations (MUN).

Over the Rainbow.
Our developing association with global providers, such as COBIS and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, give us access to international competitions and global expeditions. Soon, the COBIS debating team head to Spain for the Student World Debate Competition and the DoE Bronze award team trek to Costa Rica. Next term, we launch three new exciting projects in music, sport and dance: the Edron-Yahama Music Academy, the Edron-UNAM rugby club, and the launch of hip hop and parkour.

Behold the Benefits.
Engagement in extracurricular activities has key benefits. Educational studies show that students are more positive, more aspirational and more achieving at school. Engagement enables students to explore new interests and develop broader perspectives. It encourages hard work in informal and fun contexts, boosting self-esteem, and developing deeper friendships. Engagement evolves essential life skills, notably goal setting, teamwork and critical thinking. And through these achievements they make Edron students distinctive, giving them edge in their future employment and further education.

Once lit, there is no holding back the commitment and passion to see things through, making our children interesting and cultured people.
